Club Netball - focuses the children and adults on local league provision that is suitable for their development with coaching tailored to facilitate this. There is no junior league in Milton Keynes meaning the children travel to Northampton and Leighton Buzzard to access competition, as well as one day tournaments and overnight tournaments across the South and East regions. In addition, the club runs an annual tour. There is a flourishing adult indoor senior league in Milton Keynes, we have several senior club squads we enter each season in addition to a club yr11+ junior team and a couple of regional junior teams for development. We now have a junior league in Milton Keynes setup 2022/23 season that is growing in size.
Regional Netball and Higher Netball - (including Franchise and National academy) focuses on regional and higher league netball, National clubs, Super League NPL and National Academy for athletes that are able, or have the potential to achieve in this environment. This means that parents & children travel all across the South to access South regional competition, as well as one day tournaments and overnight tournaments across the country. In addition, the club runs an overseas tour annually. The adult senior regional leagues are played across the South and East and some of the junior athletes access this from age 14+ if we feel they are ready.
We train and coach our club netball separately from our regional and higher netball which means more facilities, more time, more coaching time and more volunteers to ensure we can provide netball for all in our clubs.
England Netball split the county into 9 regions. MK Netters are situated at the very top of the South Region - highlighted in light blue – the furthest south being Guernsey.
Each season we enter the Netball South playoffs , there are usually more than 30 clubs competing in each age group to try and secure one of the top 8 positions that forms the South Division 1.
Only the 1st and 2nd place teams in this division are invited to the National Club Finals at U14 & U16 .
There are other regional competitions & tournaments run by other organisations and clubs that we may also enter from U11 - Senior age groups.
