Club Chairperson - Louise Collard

I have had the pleasure of being involved with the club since 2002; initially as Mum of one of the players who started going along to the club but was very quickly drafted in as an umpire when it was let known that I was a player and umpire in the local senior league. Since then, my involvement has grown; from the time the senior teams I was coaching, amalgamated with the club to expand its offering onto qualifying as a level 2 coach to coach the junior squads, joined the committee and then club Chairperson. 

The club has grown hugely in the time I have been associated with it and I am extremely proud of the volunteers that work so tirelessly to offer as much netball as we can possible fit into each week for our members. Seeing the youngsters start their journeys at 5 or 6 years old and progressing through our club to our senior section is immensely rewarding. 

We strive to offer all our members the opportunity to grow their love of the game, develop their skills, make new friends, become fitter and healthier as individuals both physically and mentally and guide them through the development pathway if they wish, to whatever level they can achieve. If members wish to play only local league, we welcome that too. We are all inclusive and every level of netball is important to us. 

In addition to the netball court skills, we encourage fun, laughter and team spirit both amongst the players and the volunteers and supporters.
